Manor School raises more than $3,800 for Heart and Stroke Foundation

Manor School held Jump Rope for Heart Friday, March 18. A total of 45 students raised $3,816.65 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Manor School held Jump Rope for Heart Friday, March 18. A total of 45 students raised $3,816.65 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Kindergarten to grade 6 students moved from station to station with their classroom teacher, ending the afternoon with a skip off, snacks and prizes. Winners of the skip off were: Kara Brimner-Kindergarten; Colby Cuddington - Gr.1; Trysten Bird - Gr.2; Ambria Gerl-Morris/Faith Dupas (TIE) -Gr.3; Madison Cuddington- Gr. 4; Presley Onufreychuk- Gr.5; Cooper Fox/Haley Chapman (TIE)- Gr.6. The winners from each grade then had a skip off and the winner was Haley Chapman. The Top 10 fundraisers were: Kyle Bye, Nathan Bye, Dominique Jurista, Cooper Fox, Tallyn Rowley-Ashworth, Jennifer Wilson, Mackenzie Carley, Madisyn Wagner, Drayden Arndt and Shaylynne Englot. Organizer Teresa Fox wants to thank Candy Bye, a parent volunteer, for helping organize the Jump Rope event and for supplying the snacks and drinks.
