A number of local students celebrated their graduation from the University of Regina at the institution's fall convocation, held on October 16 at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina.
The awards were conferred by U of R's President and Vice-chancellor Dr. Vianne Timmons. As well, presentations were made to this spring's award winners with outstanding academic achievements.
Among the 525 people graduating were Cassidy Ryan Neilson, Weyburn, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business Administration; Sandra Louise Spencer, Weyburn, Bachelor of Social Work; Jenna Lee Ward, Weyburn, Bachelor of Arts; Rae-Ann Fieger, Bengough, Certificate of Extended Studies in Inclusive Education; Cameron Drew Jarvis, Carlyle, Bachelor of Business Administration; Caley Rae Third, Carlyle, Bachelor of Business Administration; Kyla Rhea Moffat, Colgate, Certificate of Extended Studies in Inclusive Education; and Mark Anthony Urban, Fillmore, Master of Science.
