The Weyburn Public Library will have a number of programs running through July for adults to enjoy and take in, in addition to the children's summer reading program which is ongoing each week.The knitting group met on Tuesday, and on Friday, July 17, there will be a free presentation on the pharmacist's role in relation to a person's health, medication safety and the changing prescriptive rights that will be coming forward soon for all pharmacists.On Tuesday, July 20, Service Canada will visit the library to discuss community futures for youth, including a role in a business internship program.The first of the new Armchair Travel Series will be held on July 21, with a behind-the-scenes look at the security for the 2010 Winter Olympics held in February in Vancouver.Some coming events in August include a two-part yoga class for seniors, a science fiction book club and a workshop for writers coupled with a reading by Saskatchewan authors Robin and Arlene Karpan.
