The Kennedy Homecraft 4-H club help their public speaking competition on Feb 15th at the Kennedy School. We would like to thank Jean Sostorics and Cheryl Sawyer for judging. The junior members were didvided into two groups based on their age. For the 10 and unders Brynn Stutt won first for her speed on a special blind dog that she met on a holiday. Zoe Dubois won second for her speech on smart animals. Josie Harrison spoke about her dog named Bentley. Emily Dubois spoke about 小蓝视频 left handed and she won first for the under 13 year olds. Brynn Bourhis won second for her speech on 小蓝视频 a hockey player's sibling. Quinn Wilton spoke about her new lamb and Kayla Vickers spoke about her dog Bear.
In the intermediate division Brooke Hourd won first for her speech on roller coasters and Brody Stutt won second for speaking about a combine fire on his farm. Colton Harrison spoke about snowboarding and Gabrielle Dube spoke about Justin Bieber vs Taylor Lautner. Alyssa Panteluk, Todd McDougall and Trevor Dube were unable to attend and will give their speeches at a later date. We enjoyed cookies and juice after. Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday March 1st at 5:15 at the school.
