The Weyburn Independent Riders motorcycle group will be holding two events for charity in September.
The annual Toy Parade will take place on Saturday, September 11. Participants are asked to bring an unwrapped toy for the Weyburn Salvation Army, which will then be distributed to children in-need at Christmas time.
The Toy Parade will leave from the Weyburn Junior High School parking lot at 1 p.m.
The Riders are also participating in the Ronald McDonald Challenge with Estevan riders on Sunday, September 12. Interested participants should gather at the Weyburn McDonalds restaurant between 1 and 2 p.m. and bring their $20 donation for the Ronald McDonald House charity.
The group will travel to Estevan and then to Stoughton to enjoy a beef on a bun roast beef supper at the Crossroads Inn. Several door prizes will be given away to participants.
Anyone interested in these events is invited to join the Independent Riders.
