Impaired driving and possession charges dominate police activities

On Tuesday, Sept. 21, members of the Estevan Police Service (EPS) were called to the Estevan Comprehensive School in response to a report of a young person 小蓝视频 in possession of a controlled substance. The matter remains under investigation.


On the night of Sept. 21, police arrested and charged a 35-year-old Estevan man with impaired driving following a report of an erratic driver 小蓝视频 spotted in the central part of the city. The man is scheduled to appear in court to answer to the charge.


An 18-year-old Estevan man was charged with 小蓝视频 in possession of a controlled substance following a complaint of a suspicious vehicle 小蓝视频 spotted in the Hillside area of the city. The man has an October court date.


A report of wilful damage 小蓝视频 inflicted on a vehicle in the central part of the city was checked into by police on Sept. 24. The back window of the vehicle had been damaged.


An assault on a 38-year-old Estevan man was 小蓝视频 investigated by EPS members on Sept. 24. The assault apparently occurred at a local establishment in the central part of the city.


On that same evening, police attended to a local lounge in response to a report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, police spotted two Estevan men fighting so arrested both of them and lodged them in cells until they gained sobriety. They are now scheduled for a November court appearance.


While police were in the parking lot attending to the fight, a car was spotted 小蓝视频 driven in an erratic fashion. A 22-year-old Alberta woman was subsequently arrested for impaired driving and has a November court date.


A short time after police had interrupted one fight, another fight broke out and two more men were arrested and lodged in cells until sober. They too, now have a November court date.


A 51-year-old Silton area man was arrested for impaired driving on the night of Sept. 24. He was also given a November court date after spending the night in police cells.


A call from another lounge prompted police response that same night. In this instance, a female patron in the bar was refusing to leave as requested. The 23-year-old woman was arrested and lodged in cells until sober and now faces charges which she will respond to when she appears in court in November.


An intoxicated man who was attempting to gain entry into a local residence was the subject of the next round of activities for EPS members on Sept. 24. The man was located and arrested for 小蓝视频 intoxicated in public and lodged in cells until sober. He was charged under the Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act.


On the night of Sept. 25, EPS members performed a routine check on a vehicle in the central part of the city. As a result of their scrutiny, an Estevan man was arrested for 小蓝视频 in possession of a controlled substance. Another man in the vehicle was also arrested on outstanding warrants, so both have been given court dates.


A call from a local business regarding a shoplifting incident required police action on the night of Sept. 25. Police learned that the suspect had fled the scene prior to their arrival, but a short time later employees from the business called police to report that the shoplifter had returned. When police responded, they arrested a 25-year-old Estevan man and charged him with theft.


A man and woman running on the road in the central part of the city attracted police attention on the night of Sept. 25. When police arrived in the area to check on the activity, the man attempted to flee, so he was arrested and lodged in cells.
