Last week, the Student Council sold and delivered Candy Cane Gifts to students. They also organized a Fear Factor Challenge in the hallway at lunch. Kyle Sargent ate a mixture of egg nog, pumpkin pie, jelly, pancakes, and sausage to prove that for Kyle: "Fear is not a factor!" The Student Council continues to sell $1 muffins and donuts between first and second class every morning.
School clothing has arrived. For anyone interested in buying school clothes, extras have been purchased. Please check out all of the pictures of the school clothing located on the school blog.
The Junior and Senior Drama Clubs continue to meet Monday evenings. They are looking forward to competing at the Regional festival in March.
Just a reminder to parents that the School Community Council's next meeting is January 11, 2012, at the high school. The meeting starts at 7:00. Parents are needed in order to provide input into the policies of our school and to help facilitate communication within the larger community. With the support of our school community council, we have made significant improvements to math over the last few years and now we are looking towards improving literacy rates as well. Parental support by attending our school community council is needed.
