The Observer and participating Carlyle businesses are offering you the chance to snag yourself $100 in Carlyle Christmas cash to be spent at local businesses. With a focus on shopping locally for the Christmas season, this promotion gives you the opportunity to put a little extra money into your pocket for the holiday season.
Running from Nov. 18 until Dec. 2, a single green gnome will be placed somewhere in a participating business each Friday.
All you have to do is find him and bring him back to the Observer. Once you do, you will be given $100 in Carlyle Christmas cash to be spent wherever you like. No strings attached.
The gnome stands approximately a foot tall and in keeping true to the Saskatchewan spirit is holding a football. But don't forget that it is Christmas, so the little guy is outfitted in a red Santa hat.
All you have to do is get out there and support your local businesses, do a little Christmas shopping in the meantime and keep your eyes open for a green gnome. He is waiting for you.
