A fatal collision south of Carlyle has left a 72-year-old Alberta man dead.
RCMP investigated the two vehicle collision, which occurred on Highway 9, 18 kilometres south of Carlyle on November 15. RCMP said the deceased man's pick-up truck was heading north and was attempting to turn left when it collided with a southbound semi.
The 72-year-old driver of the truck died on the scene. He was from Ranfurly, Alberta. The semi driver was not injured and there were no other passengers in either vehicle.
RCMP responded to the accident shortly after 8 a.m. on the 15th.
