Extensive damages in two collisions in one night

Two separate motor vehicle accidents attracted the attention of the Estevan Police Service (EPS) on the night of April 5.

The first incident occurred on King Street near the Canadian Tire outlet when a westbound vehicle stopped in traffic to make a left turn into the company's parking lot. It was rear-ended by another vehicle.

No injuries were reported, but damages to one of the vehicles were extensive.

Charges under the Traffic Safety Act for following too close are pending against the driver of the offending vehicle.

The second accident occurred at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and Fourth Street.

Police state that a vehicle making a left turn had turned off Fourth Street south onto Ninth Avenue, and turned in front of an eastbound vehicle causing a T-bone collision.

It is believed that one of the vehicles involved was totalled in the mishap but no injuries were reported.

The driver of the offending vehicle has been charged for failing to yield the right-of-way while turning left.

On the night of April 7 and early morning hours of April 8, EPS members arrested a 46-year-old woman at a local lounge on the city's east side. The woman was booked for intoxication and was lodged in cells and subsequently charged for failing to leave a licensed premises after 小蓝视频 requested to do so.

That same night, a 25-year-old man was arrested and charged for driving while impaired and for driving while his blood-alcohol level was over .08 per cent.

The next night a vehicle check at the intersection of 14th Avenue and Second Street resulted in two people 小蓝视频 charged for having open liquor in a vehicle and one person was charged for 小蓝视频 in possession of a controlled substance.

On that same night, two skateboards were seized from a 15-year-old and 17-year-old after they were seen skateboarding in the right hand traffic lane in the 1100 block of Fourth Street shortly after 9 o'clock.

An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of causing wilful damage as a result of windows 小蓝视频 broken in two vehicles that were parked at St. Joseph's Hospital.
