In just two weeks, Cornerstone Theatre Inc. will take the stage for the production of "Exit the Body," a play set in New England in 1961. Written by Fred Carmichael and directed by Doug Waldner, the comedy is sure to be a success with its clever remarks and witty banter.
The play focuses on a mystery writer, who takes a week off before the start of her next novel, moving herself and her secretary into an upstate New York summer residence. The two are quickly informed about the previous resident, a jewel thief who was recently killed in an automobile accident. The plot thickens as the cast becomes thrown into a search for missing jewels thought to be located somewhere within the residence.
Ten cast members are involved in this year's production, with the large difference production-wise 小蓝视频 the role of the protagonist. Waldner stated that in previous years, "the main protagonist has always been a male, and this year, it is female, so that is different this year."
The production runs from April 15th to April 17th at the Carlyle Memorial Hall. Tickets are available for purchase at Cornerstone Shoes or by phone at 453-2411 up until April 14th. Dinner Theatre tickets are $30 and available for the evenings of April 15th and 16th with cocktails beginning at 6 p.m., followed by supper at 7 p.m. and the performance at 8 p.m..
