A 51-year-old Estevan man is dead after a two vehicle accident near Alameda Saturday.
At approximately 12:20, the Carnduff RCMP detachment received a call regarding a collision between a truck and a motorcycle at the junction of the entrance to Alameda and Highway 9.
A 67-year-old Oxbow man was operating his truck northbound on Highway 9 and was turning left into Alameda when the collision took place.
The Estevan man, who was driving south on his motorcycle, suffered severe injuries in the crash. He was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital and pronounced dead.
Alcohol and weather were not considered a factor in the collision. The Yorkton RCMP traffic analyst and Carnduff RCMP are continuing to investigate.
