Crowd gathers for demonstration at Wheat Festival

Dave Carlson and his nephew Travis Carlson demonstrate how rope was made by settlers to Weyburn, during one of the heritage demonstrations held during the Weyburn Wheat Festival. Most of these demonstrations took place at Heritage Village, which was the main venue for the two-day Festival. Other events held during Friday and Saturday included a horticultural show at Knox Hall, a pie social at the Soo Line Historical Museum, a Farmer's Market at the City Centre Mall, and the production of "The Crazy Man" at the Tommy Douglas Performing Arts Centre.
