COVID-19 Update for August 23 and a notification regarding a Regina business

There are three new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on August 23, bringing the total to 1,600 reported cases. The new cases were located in the North Central (1), Regina (1) and СÀ¶ÊÓƵ West (1) zones.

The new cases were located in the North Central (1), Regina (1) and СÀ¶ÊÓƵ West (1) zones.

Of the 1,600 reported cases, 106 were considered active. A total of 1,472 people recovered.

Five people were in hospital. One person received inpatient care in Saskatoon. Four people were in intensive care, all in Saskatoon.

Investigations completed thus far found 69 of 106 active cases were in communal living settings.

Also, the Saskatchewan Health Authority notified the public that an individual who tested positive for COVID-19 had visited the Designer Shoe Warehouse Harbour Landing location in Regina.

Times to be aware of included Friday, August 14 – 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, August 16 – 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, August 17 – 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19 – 12:00 noon to 8:30 p.m.
