April is Dental Health Month. Oral Health - Good for Life is this year's slogan for National Dental Health Month. Follow these simple steps to good oral health and watch your overall health improve, too:
1. Brush twice and Floss once every day.
2. Eat a well-balance diet.
3.Check your mouth regularly for signs of gum disease and oral cancer.
4.Don't smoke.
5.Visit your dentist regularly.
Remember this is a connection between good oral health and overall health.
At Carlyle Elementary Community School oral health is very important to us, in cooperation with Saskatchewan Health we continue to offer our fluoride mouth rinsing program free of cost to all children in Grade 1-6. This program is entirely volunteer. Fluoride mouth rinsing is one important way of keeping children's teeth healthy. If you have any question regarding the program please call Mrs. Fehrenbach at 453-2098.
