Big Brothers Big Sisters of Weyburn (BBBSW) is inviting the public to their upcoming annual general meeting scheduled for January 25 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held in the board room at Community Futures Sunrise in Weyburn.
During the meeting, BBBSW will review the past year and their accomplishments. The organization will be voting for its twelve member board during the business portion of the meeting. With a few spots available, contact Executive Director Amy Mohr for additional information on becoming a BBBSW board member. The time commitment is minimal, but the rewards are immense, according to Mohr.
BBBSW's mission is to enhance the healthy development of children, youth and their families through positive mentoring relationships. The organization also strives to contribute to a community with healthy, happy families, where children realize their value and self-worth.
