Although the majority of those present at Assiniboia鈥檚 career fair were high school students, there were also opportunities available for older people to consider. Frontline border officers from the Canada Border Services Agency were specifically hoping to attract trainees with life experiences beyond high school. Recruiter Lane Peterson from Glentworth suggested the high school students at the fair might consider the CBSA to be a career option further down the road.
The career fair also included presentations held throughout the POW, where representatives from colleges and businesses were able to explain in greater detail what they were offering to potential students and employees.聽 聽 聽聽
