Two people were injured in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Dec. 8 when one vehicle pulled off to the right to drop off a passenger. Apparently the vehicle had not pulled in far enough to avoid 小蓝视频 struck from behind by a second vehicle. The incident is 小蓝视频 looked into by members of the Estevan Police Service (EPS).
A report of a break and enter at a local business on the east side of the city between the evening of Dec. 5 and the morning of Dec. 7 was 小蓝视频 investigated by EPS members. Items that were reported stolen include a MIG welder, drill and angle grinder.
An intoxicated man who was unwilling to leave a local lounge on the night of Dec. 8 was the subject of some police action. EPS members arrested the 41-year-old for 小蓝视频 intoxicated in a public place as well as other charges that arose as a result of their further investigation. The subject will be responding to those charges when he appears in court Jan. 13.
A report of theft from a vehicle in the east central part of the city resulted in police response. The suspect fled from the scene as his activity was 小蓝视频 reported to police. The matter remains under investigation.
A noise complaint on the night of Dec. 8 required police attention in the northeast section of the city. Another noise complaint was also registered from the south side of the city. In both instances, the responsible parties were warned about the City's noise bylaw and no further action was required.
A vehicle that had been driven into the ditch and rolled was the subject of an investigation by EPS members on Dec. 9. The driver of the vehicle had apparently lost control, but the occupants left the scene prior to police arrival so the matter remains under investigation.
A hit-and-run incident at a local restaurant parking lot required police attention. Upon arrival they discovered extensive damage had been inflicted on a fence and the building itself. A suspect vehicle was located a short time later and a 29-year-old Calgary man has been charged accordingly and is scheduled for an Estevan courtroom in January.
An erratic driver on the east side of the city was the object of police attention on the night of Dec. 9. Police located the vehicle and the driver was noted to be intoxicated so the 33-year-old Estevan man was charged with impaired driving and driving contrary to his licence restrictions. He has a January court date.
While police were busy checking on a number of vehicles during the course of that same evening, they arrested a 28-year-old Midale man for impaired driving. He too, will appear in court in January.
During the course of the evening, police were called to a local business where a patron had been reported to be damaging equipment. Police located a 20-year-old intoxicated male in the establishment so he was arrested and lodged in cells until sober. Charges pending against him.
During the day shift on Dec. 11, police were called to the south side of the city in response to a 911 call. Two women, who had been imbibing and had set out on foot, were located and transported back to their residence due to the weather conditions that prevailed at the time. No further action was required.
A report of theft from a vehicle on the south side of the city was reported to police on Dec. 11. EPS members determined that several vehicles in the area had been possibly victimized. They were able to locate and arrest a 20-year-old man following a short pursuit on foot. He is now facing several charges including theft of goods valued at less than $5,000 and breach of a probation order. He also had outstanding warrants against him for 小蓝视频 in breach of other court orders. He was remanded in custody pending his court date.
A female driver was warned about her erratic driving actions following a traffic stop on the east side of the city. The woman was not intoxicated, but her driving activities had raised suspicions regarding her condition.
On the night of Dec. 13, police attended to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident on the east side of the city. A semi-trailer unit that had been involved in the incident ended up with a flat tire while the other vehicle could not be driven and had to be towed from the scene.
EPS members responded to a call regarding a domestic dispute on the night of Dec. 13. A 22-year-old Estevan man was subsequently arrested on outstanding warrants and is slated to appear in a Moose Jaw courtroom in January.
Police also arrested a 36-year-old Regina man on numerous outstanding warrants.
The man was held in custody before 小蓝视频 transported back to Regina to face the charges levied against him in that city.
