ESTEVAN - The Estevan Mercury is excited to announce the winner of this year's Father's Day promotion.
Petrina McArthur entered her childrens’ father, Trevor Lonechild, for the contest. The couple has had three sets of twins.
This year's promotion had support from three businesses: KFC, who supplied a $50 gift card; Pharmasave, who provided a gift basket; and Four Season Rental and Repair, who contributed a Stilh hat, gloves and safety glasses.
People could enter any dad they wanted to, and enter as many times as they wanted with different father figures. Hundreds of entries were received. The Mercury had submissions for fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, stepfathers, fathers-in-law, and a few who have been father figures for the entrants.
The Mercury thanks all those who entered.
