The inaugural Oil-a-thon for the United Way is underway at the Great Canadian Oil Change in Estevan.
The fundraiser started at 7 a.m. Thursday morning and will continue until 10 p.m. The business will donate $15 from every oil change to the United Way, which has its annual fundraising telethon Oct. 18-19.
Conventional oil changes will happen at reduced rates during the final three hours.
There are also door prizes that include an oil change for a year and Estevan Bruin tickets.
The business has supported various causes in the community in the past, and they thought the oil-a-thon would be a great way to support the United Way.
