The 16th annual Gainsborough Oil and Gas Mixed Bonspiel proved to be a fun weekend for competitors.
Ten teams entered the event, which was held from Jan. 11 to 13 at the Gainsborough Curling Rink.
General Well Servicing won the first event final, defeating Fast Trucking No. 1 6-4.
Fast Trucking No. 3 took the second event, defeating Shaw Earth Moving in the final. The third event went to Fast Trucking No. 2, and they knocked off Cowan Oilfield No. 1 in the final.
(Scores for the second and third event finals were not available).
Teams played eight-end games.
The bonspiel also featured a banquet on the second night.
