The first Estevan farmers market for this year was a big success.聽
The doors of the Shopper鈥檚 Mall opened for customers at 9:30 in the morning on Saturday, April 27. And already a half hour into the day there was quite a bit of a crowd checking out the items offered.
The entrance table had a variety of young plants and succulents. Homemade perogies, pies, jams and bakery as always were the hit. On top of that, there was a variety of leggings, jewellery, bath bombs, pickled vegetables, bags, knitted accessories, dreamcatchers and other items offered to visitors.聽
Next Saturday the sales will be held indoors as well. And starting May 11, Estevan farmers market will move out of Shopper鈥檚 Mall into the parking lot to gain more exposure.聽
Farmers markets will run every Saturday from April 27 until the second week of October. The hours will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.聽
