Community Futures (CF) Sunrise will be hosting a one-day business workshop in Estevan next month.
After a busy Small Business Week in southeast Saskatchewan, CF Sunrise said in a press release that it wants the spotlight to remain on business development and strategic growth. So it is teaming up with Affinity Credit Union, the Estevan Chamber of Commerce and the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce to bring Ron Robichaud, one of Canada鈥檚 leading small business financial experts, to southeast Saskatchewan.
Robichaud has been in the area before, facilitating financial management workshops. He will host a highly interactive session called Nail the Numbers for local business owners on Nov. 2 at Affinity Credit Union鈥檚 Estevan branch, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It will focus on methods to increase the bottom line and improve profit margins.
鈥淩on Robichaud provides easy-to-understand advice and practical tools for business owners as they redefine their business goals with an eye specifically on profit potential,鈥 said Verna O鈥橬eill, the general manager of CF Sunrise. 鈥淩on has such an engaging way he delivers his message; his words make so much sense, and have great impact.
鈥淲e鈥檝e been fortunate to arrange for Ron to speak to businesses in our region before and he鈥檚 earned rave reviews. The partnering organizations worked together to bring him back to southeast Saskatchewan again, and we encourage the business community to come out and attend this workshop.鈥
A similar event will take place at the Weyburn Travelodge Hotel on Nov. 1 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.聽
