CARLYLE - Dallas Lequyer, owner of RedLine Auto Parts & Industrial Supplies, is now selling trailers built by PJ Trailers out of Morden, Man.
For 18 years, these trailers were sold by Lawrence Fisher of Manor. Now 87 years of age, he has finally decided to retire.
“PJ’s builds a great line of trailers, and I have been honoured to be a dealer. I have had customers from all over Western Canada, and in 2006, 2007 and 2008, I was one of their top salesmen in the whole country,“ Fisher modestly stated. “But, you know, all good things must come to an end, and I think having Dallas and Red Line take over now is the right thing to do.”
Fisher and wife Darline have lived in Manor nearly all their lives and have no intentions of moving anywhere. They are in good health.
Lequyer opened his RedLine Auto Parts store in Carlyle back in December 2020. He is thrilled to be adding trailers to his product line and feels it will be a good fit to his existing inventory of auto parts, industrial and oilfield supplies.
“P.J’s builds every type of trailer one would need. Flat decks, car haulers, equipment tilts, dumps and utility trailers,” said Lequyer.
PJ Trailers is the largest medium duty trailer manufacturer in North America. Their brand is synonymous with high-end professional grade trailers. PJ is known worldwide for its legendary powder coat finish, which is a standard feature on every trailer they manufacture.
Trailers have already been moved from Manor onto the RedLine Carlyle building location on the north side of Highway 13. Dallas has already seen an increase in foot traffic and looks forward to meeting all new and existing customers of PJs and Fisher. RedLine is open Monday to Saturday and also has its own Facebook Page. From an oldie in Fisher to a newbie in Lequyer it is a definite changing of the guard.
