Not many people realize that most of the Weyburn Arts Council (WAC) directors are also emerging artists.
In fact, not only does WAC bring the community the latest in Saskatchewan art and artists at both the Allie Griffin Art Gallery and the Credit Union Gallery, but the members also work quietly behind the scenes creating their own works of art.
This multi-talented group has worked in metal art, fibre art, pottery, paintings, photography, wood, and more and is ready to show it all off at the "WAC Shows Off" art exhibition.
This art exhibition at the Weyburn Credit Union Gallery features the art of Lois Olson, Marilyn Nelson, Sandra Hanni, Max Himsl, Terry Creurer, Nicole Griffin, Dave Craigen, Gloria Scaddan, Marnie Bernard and Jon Gillies.
This exhibition will be on view for the month of January.
