Preparing Heritage Village for Wheat Festival

Dave Carlson and Andrew Durston work on ensuring all the Heritage Village sites are ready to be opened to the public, as it will be one of the venue's for this years Wheat Festival.

In addition to activities held at Heritage Village on August 6 and 7, other venues for the Wheat Festival include a pie social at the Soo Line Historical Museum, the Horticultural Society's annual flower show at Knox Hall, a Farmer's Market at the City Centre Mall, and an art show and sale at the Signal Hill Arts Centre.

Residents are encouraged to "take a step back in time" during the Wheat Festival, by attending the activities planned at any of the venues during the weekend. For more information, please refer to the front-page story or the advertisement inside this publication.
