"Regina's Number One News and Information Station" is now "Saskatchewan's Number One News and Information Station," as three high-powered FM signals officially sign on, beaming out the programming of News Talk 980 CJME, Regina.
"We are thrilled to be able to have more people 'join the conversation'," said Tom Newton, Vice President and General Manager for Rawlco Radio. "Saskatchewanians are no strangers to 'coffee row' and that's just what we are - a place to discuss and debate what really matters to people here in Saskatchewan."
After just over a month of government-mandated testing, CJME's FM transmitters in Swift Current, Gravelbourg and Warmley will now begin broadcasting a full slate of the News Talk Radio programming lineup including John Gormley Live, The Jerry Steen Show, Charles Adler, The Richard Brown Show, Sports Night with Jamie Nye and Drew Remenda, Prime Time Sports, and CJME's award-winning news coverage.
In Swift Current and the southwest, listeners can tune in on 101.7 FM. In Gravelbourg, Assiniboia and points south, listeners can tune in on 107.1 FM. In Weyburn, Estevan, and southeast Saskatchewan, listeners can tune in on 107.3 FM.
News Talk 980 CJME is owned and operated by Rawlco Radio Ltd., Saskatchewan's largest broadcaster with 12 radio stations across the province.
