The Helen Davidson Music Award committee has announced the recipient of the $2,000 scholarship.
Britney Alexander will be the recipient of the 2010 scholarship for her piano playing skills. She will present a concert and receive her award at a special event to be held in September.
Britney is the daughter of Mark and Melanie Alexander and a piano student of Cherith Alexander.
The Helen Davidson Music Award honours Helen Davidson, a music teacher in Weyburn for 60 years. She has presented this scholarship in the two previous years to Meagan Milatz, Chelsea Woodard and Brayden Jensen.
