Weyburn Big Brothers Big Sisters (WBBBS) is holding their most important fundraising event of the year on April 9. The 16th annual Bowl for Kids Sake will take place at the Weyburn Superbowl.
Executive director Amy Mohr is encouraging bowlers of all ages and abilities to take part in the fundraising event.
"Get your employees, friends and family members excited about Bowl for Kids Sake by creating teams together," said Mohr.
With four to six bowlers per team, each bowler must raise a minimum of $50 in pledges. Pledges are due on the day of the event.
This year?s theme is "Beach Bums," and prizes will be awarded for the best dressed team of each round.
Bowling times are 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., 7:45 to 8:45 p.m., 9 to 10 p.m. and 10:15 to 11:15 p.m. Participants are asked to contact WBBBS to book their time.
All of the money raised at the event stays in the community and supports the programs WBBBS offer to children, youth and their families.
