ASSINIBOIA - This year the Assiniboia and District Arts Council will be hosting the Pop Up Gallery online. The artwork will be posted on the gallery website, Facebook and Instagram platforms and will have the option to purchase through a Shop Now link on the website.
The funds will be collected by the arts council and then paid out to the artists at the end of the show. Any work sold will be the responsibility of the artist to send the artwork to the customer. Any shipping costs will also be the responsibility of the artist.
The work can be for sale or show but must be indicated with the submitted information. The arts council will be taking a 15 per cent commission for non- members and a 10 per cent commission for members of the Arts Council.
Interested artists who would like to participate can submit their artwork by emailing a JPEG photo of the artwork in good quality, cropped with no background. Each image must have title, medium, size and price. Maximum of six pieces per artist. A short bio or artist statement and contact information for artist must be included.
The artwork will be posted on Facebook, Instagram and on the Assiniboia Arts Council website from March 1 to April 15
The deadline to submit is February 18.
