Weyburn Duplicate Bridge Club report

The Weyburn Duplicate Bridge Club will be having their annual Christmas dinner at the Captain's Table on Monday, December 22 followed by bridge at the Wheatland Senior Centre. Regular duplicate bridge is played Mondays at 7:00 p.m.

The Weyburn Duplicate Bridge Club will be having their annual Christmas dinner at the Captain's Table on Monday, December 22 followed by bridge at the Wheatland Senior Centre. Regular duplicate bridge is played Mondays at 7:00 p.m. and Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. at the Wheatland Senior Centre. All bridge players are welcome to come and play this form of bridge.
On November 3, there were three tables and Diane Bell and Barry Mactaggart took top honours, followed by Lucie Nickel and John Whitell in second.
Three and a half tables played on November 6 and Barry Mactaggart and Lucie Nickel had a strong game to claim first, John Whitell and Chuck Widdis came second, and Diane and Gord Bell were third.
On November 10, four tables were in play with Diane and Gord Bell finishing first, Jim Brown and John Whitell were second, while Barry Mactaggart and Marg Stewart were third.
With three tables on November 13, first place went to Gord Bell and Marg Stewart, while second place went to Diane Bell and Barry Mactaggart.
On November 17 with three tables playing, Gord Bell and Marg Stewart finished in first, and Jim Brown and John Whitell placed second.
Four tables played on November 20 and first place went to John Whitell and Chuck Widdis; second place went to Isabelle Butters and Marg Stewart; and tied for third place were Jim Brown and Reggie Frank and Fred and Lydia Milleker.
On November 24 with three tables, taking first place were Lydia Milleker and Lucie Nickel, and finishing in second place were Fred Milleker and Andy Dumba.
The last game of the month, played on November 27, had three tables playing and Jim Brown and Reggie Frank took top honours, while Diane and Gord Bell placed second.
