Wawota said goodbye to Mike and Colleen Greenbank this past week. They have moved to Regina and Deb Morson has purchased their house on Hall Street.

Sympathy to Joel and Sam Carpenter and family on the passing of Sam's brother, Johnathan Inglis, at the age of 45 years. His funeral service was held in Brandon on Sept. 24.

Ed Young has returned to Wawota after spending the summer months visiting family in Quebec.

Carla Sheen of Idaho Falls visited with John and Charlene Lincoln and other family members. She also attended her 35th school reunion.

Sympathy to Dean and Cheryl DeRoo and family on the passing of Dean's brother Garry of Nipawin. He passed away on Sept. 10 at the age of 63 years.

Due to the burning down of the Moosehead Inn, the memorial day in memory of Teresa (Penney) Ottenbreit was held on the Moosehead grounds on Sept. 19. Teresa passed away on Aug. 2 at the age of 48 years.

Happy birthday to Claire Dorrance, who celebrated his 80th birthday on Sept. 19. A celebration was held at Kennedy.

Stan and Bev Niebergall enjoyed a trip to the Edmonton area recently. They attended the wedding on Sept. 19, of their oldest grandson, Colton Brown to Savahana at Leduc County, Alta. While there they also visited with their oldest great grandson, Benjamin Holyoak, who was the ring bearer. The weather was like it is here, warm during the day and very cool in the evenings. There was a lot of harvesting still to be done.

I appreciated 小蓝视频 the recipient of a decorated drinking bottle for the Summer Lawn Chair Travel Challenge at the Wawota Public Library. The challenge was to read a book located in each of the 10 provinces and the 3 territories during the two summer months.
