An energy company recently showed its support for nutrition at an Estevan school.
The breakfast program at Hillcrest School, which was started in 2011, is continuing to provide a good nutritious start to the day despite the obstacles a pandemic presents.
Vermillion Energy recently donated $2,000 to the program to help with increased costs because of guideline changes made to support a safe delivery method for the breakfast.
The company has been active with the program in the past by providing volunteers and funding to help support what they see as ensuring children and youth have access to healthy, nutritious food, helping to fuel minds and bodies.
