ASSINIBOIA - Messiah Lutheran Church in Assiniboia welcomed Bishop Helen Kennedy (Anglican Diocese of Qu’Appelle), and Bishop Sid Hagen (Saskatchewan Synod) for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on March 19. This MOU is between the Lutheran and Anglican church (which has recently closed).
This MOU explains the structures in which the Anglican members and the people of Messiah Lutheran will live, work, and worship together. It was a wonderful time of worship, thankfulness, and fellowship.
A wonderful service of word and sacrament to solidify the moving forward together to be a unified people of God in southern Saskatchewan.
