The Mankota Travel Club had plenty of stories and photos to share after their ten-day trip to Europe after arriving home on April 7. The group landed in Frankfurt, Germany then they stopped at Rothenburg before touring Munich. There was a lunch stop at Innsbruck, Austria along the way to Italy.

At Venice, the highlights included a gondola ride and a glass blowing demonstration. After their next stop in Verona, the students were en route to Switzerland. At Lucerne, they boarded a cogwheel train, and a trip to the top of Mount Rigi. The students then attended a Swiss folklore event with four of the teens having the opportunity to participate in the entertainment. The group toured a cuckoo clock factory and one night in Heidelberg, then finally flying home via Franfurt. All in all, they found this a very educational and interesting tour. The students included Kent Brisebois, Reagan Calvin, Halley Gavelin, Shelby Rode, Morgan Sayers, Kayla Silbernagel, Rylan Switzer, Randie Walker and Shawn Zerr. The students were chaperoned by Lennie Gavelin, Christina Sayers, Karla Silbernagel, Tiffany Thomas and Pam Zerr. (Photo by Christina Sayers)
