A GoFundMe campaign is underway for Payton Keturakis.

MIDALE - A GoFundMe campaign has been launched for Payton Keturakis and her medical expenses.

The campaign was started by Kimberly Orser, a close family friend of the Keturakis family, and Chantelle Keturakis.

On May 29, Payton Keturakis started to have chest pains. These chest pains then turned into something far worse; she could no longer walk and had no feelings in her legs. She was soon taken to the hospital to be examined by a doctor but all they could tell her mother was nothing was wrong.

June 8 slowly rolled around and Payton’s symptoms became worse. She was in extreme pain when trying to do any little task around the family home. She also started to lose feeling in her arms. Once again after 小蓝视频 taken in to be examined by a doctor, nothing was done or taken into consideration.

Since the start of all these underlying health conditions for Payton, age 10, her parents have been doing everything they can to find answers. All they want is for her to be active with friends, laughing and having fun.

“They have taken her to many different doctors, pediatricians and naturopaths. One naturopath they [saw] suggested a screening for Lyme disease. When that screening came back that’s exactly what popped up in bright bold red letters,” states the GoFundMe page.

Orser said she is doing this fundraiser on behalf of the family to help cut down the costs for any testing, travelling and other medical expenses they may come by.

So far it has raised $770 of its $5,000 goal, with nine donors.
