UPDATE:
SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - The severe thunderstorm warnings for the southeast have come to an end.
Issued just after 10:15 p.m. Saturday night, the warning states that Environment Canada meteorologists were tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel-sized hail and heavy rain.
Several RMs had warnings Saturday night and into Sunday.
Power outages were reported on SaskPower's X feed for the Manor, Storthoaks and Alida areas overnight. According to SaskPower, electricity was restored in Manor at 6:24 a.m. and Storthoaks came on a minute later, after power was out for several hours. SaskPower noted that due to storm conditions in both areas, crews would work on repairs during daylight hours.
As for Alida, the outage was reported just after 4 a.m. SaskPower was working to repair damaged equipment. SaskPower reported at 9:16 a.m. that power had been restored.
A severe thunderstorm watch was also issued for the southeast on Saturday afternoon. It was lifted early Sunday.
