Update: Estevan police say missing woman located safe

UPDATE - The Estevan Police Service says Caitlyn Marie Jarvis has been located "in good health".

The EPS said in a news release Wednesday morning that it was seeking the public's assistance in locating Jarvis. She was initially reported missing to a detachment of the RCMP, as she was last heard from outside of Estevan.

The Estevan Police Service received two separate calls through the Report Impaired Drivers (RID) line on Tuesday. Both vehicles were located by police. One of the drivers was described as driving erratically. When police located the first reported vehicle, the driver provided a sample of their breath with a result of zero. The individual was warned about their driving actions. 

The second driver was described as smelling of alcohol. The motorist provided a sample of their breath and the result was under the legal limit. The driver was warned about their driving actions and cautioned about driving after consuming alcohol.

The EPS received a report of theft from a local business. The individual was located, arrested, charged and released for court for theft under $5,000.

A complaint was received regarding an individual trespassing at a local business. A 19-year-old man had been banned from a local dispensary by the property owner. He returned to the dispensary and was subsequently issued a summary offence ticket under the Cannabis Act for re-entering a premise after 小蓝视频 told to leave.

Police received a request for a well-小蓝视频 check on an Estevan individual. Police attended along with the Police and Crisis Team to offer assistance to the individual.

A second request for a well-小蓝视频 check was received by the EPS for another Estevan resident. Police attended and spoke to the individual, who was offered services though PACT.

Members attended a north-central Estevan residence regarding a noise complaint. The owner was asked to turn the music down and was warned of the city's bylaw.

Police issued several tickets for infractions under the Traffic Safety Act on Monday. Officers also assisted the bylaw enforcement officer with serving inspection notices.

Members received a complaint of possible mischief to a vehicle. The owner brought the vehicle to the police station for inspection and it was determined that the damages did not occur due to mischief.

Police received a report of a possible fraud. It was reported that someone was purchasing an excessive amount of Apple play cards. That matter remains under investigation.

Members were called to assist Estevan EMS at a central Estevan residence for a report of a male in distress. The male was treated on scene and transported to hospital for further assessment.
