UPDATE:
The Milestone RCMP is investigating a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday morning in the town.
According to an RCMP news release, on April 28 at approximately 10:35 a.m., Milestone RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway 39. Emergency crews immediately responded.
An initial investigation determined a pick-up truck and an SUV collided at the intersection of the highway and Carrington Street. The driver and passenger of the SUV were taken to hospital, one by STARS Air Ambulance and one by ground ambulance, with injuries the RCMP said were non-life-threatening in nature.
The driver of the pick-up truck was assessed by EMS at the scene.
The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highway Hotline showed the collision affected traffic in both directions for a few hours.
