REGINA - The severe thunderstorm watch that was in effect for the Estevan area has been lifted.
The watch was issued at 11:31 a.m. Thursday and was lifted at 7:43 p.m.
Environment Canada said conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Estevan did receive a little precipitation Thursday, but nothing that required a severe thunderstorm warning to be issued.
Other areas of the province were hit hard by a storm.
