ESTEVAN — The No. 30 Wylie-Mitchell Air Cadets Squadron is hosting a Mother’s Day trade show on Saturday at Wylie Mitchell Hall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
They are raising funds to help with roof repairs at the Wylie Mitchell Building, while also providing the community with an opportunity to find often unique gifts.
The show offers a variety of handmade items, clothing, bakery, jewellery, 3-D printed pieces, cosmetics, crocheting, fur pieces, even medieval weapons and ammunition and much more.
Air cadets have started fundraising for the major project a few years ago. They have been able to complete some work on the roof, but there is more work that will have to be done in the future.
A future edition of Estevan Mercury and SaskToday will have more on the story.
