NORTH PORTAL - Members of the Canada Border Services Agency recently seized a number of items at the North Portal border crossing.
According to a post on the CBSA's X account and an email sent to the Mercury and SaskToday, officers seized two undeclared loaded pistols, a prohibited rifle, ammunition, alcohol and cigarettes from an American traveller on Sept. 25.
None of the goods were returned to the traveller, who paid a $2,000 penalty for the release of their vehicle.
