ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service says a recent investigation has resulted in a 43-year-old Estevan man 小蓝视频 arrested and charged with fraud.
According to information from the EPS released on June 17, the man has been released from custody and will make an appearance in Estevan Provincial Court in September to speak to the charge.
Police received a report of a person walking along Highway 39. Rain was reducing motorists' visibility. Members spoke with the individual and provided him a ride home to ensure his safety.
Police received results on June 18 of blood samples that were taken in March as part of an impaired driving investigation. A 29-year-old man from Estevan was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code for driving while impaired by drug. His driver’s licence was suspended and he will appear in court in August.
Police received a report of a possible impaired driver at 13th Avenue and King Street. The caller was concerned of the motorist's driving actions and also witnessed an intersection offence. Members conducted a traffic stop and found that the driver was sober, but he was issued a ticket under the Traffic Safety Act.
Members are investigating a report of a fraud in which the victim granted access to their computer. That matter remains under investigation.
A female was reported as appearing to need assistance in an open area in south Estevan on June 19. The female was located and spoken to, and was offered assistance and provided transportation.
Members attended to a northeast Estevan retail location for a report of a suspicious male making unwanted communication with others in the parking lot. Officers attended, but the male had already left the area.
Police attended a central Estevan residence to perform a well小蓝视频 check as a result of a report of a female who might be in mental distress. She was spoken to and no concerns were identified.
Members attended an east-central Estevan motel for a report of a male in mental distress. He was located, found to be grossly intoxicated and was subsequently transported to the police station where he was lodged in cells until sober.
