ESTEVAN - Vermilion Energy has shown its support for a program at the Estevan Comprehensive School.
Every year in May, ECS invites all incoming Grade 8 students from the local elementary schools to the building for a tour. A few years back the school community council had the idea of expanding this by sponsoring a lunch for the Grade 8s in the ECS cafeteria. This gives the students a true feeling of what a day at ECS will feel and look like.
To help fund this initiative, Vermilion Energy has donated $1,000 for the past three years towards this project, and this year Jason Dalziel from Vermilion Energy stopped by to drop off the cheque.
The school is grateful for Vermilion's continued sponsorship of this project.
