ESTEVAN - the Estevan Comprehensive School Elecs' senior girls volleyball team won their home tournament, held Friday and Saturday at the school's gymnasium.
ECS went 7-0 during the competition, defeating the Lampman School Grizzlies 2-1 (19-25, 25-16 and 15-5) in the final.
Up next for the Elecs is the second half of the Co-op Challenge volleyball series with the Weyburn Comprehensive School Eagles on Oct. 23 in Weyburn; the series pits the senior boys' and girls' volleyball teams from both schools, and Estevan holds a 6-0 lead after sweeping matches Oct. 9 in Estevan.
