It is with deep sadness that we announce that Valerie "Val" Andrade Young (nee Hoskins) passed away on April 13, 2017 at the Victoria General Hospital. She was born on June 23, 1937 in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Val had a long and fulfilling teaching career specializing in children with social, emotional, and academic difficulties. A love of travel brought Val around the world, to visit 小蓝视频 Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Scotland, England, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Madagascar, and Russia.

She was predeceased by parents Marjorie and Clive Hoskins of Craven, Saskatchewan, husband Lorne Young of Carlyle, Saskatchewan, and sister Anne Ismond of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Val is survived by her husband Roy "Mac" McGregor, sister-in-law鈥檚 Audrey Young of Carlyle, Saskatchewan and Velma Clark of Victoria, BC, brother-in-law Glenn Ismond of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and many beloved nieces, nephews, step-children, and step-grandchildren.

A gathering to celebrate Val鈥檚 life will be held at the Glenn Morris Cemetery north of Carlyle, Sask. At 2pm June 24th, 2017.
