The Yorkton Tribal Council held Aboriginal Day festivities at the Painted Hand Casino in Yorkton Friday.
Activities included a hamburger barbecue, bounce tent and face painting for the children, a powwow drum from Cote First Nation opening the afternoon, and live entertainment including Red Ryder and guest singer Mitch Daigneault.
The afternoon talent show was taped for later broadcast on the Aboriginal Radio Network out of LaRonge.
