Attendees took part in several interactive and hands-on activities designed to deepen their understanding of the terrain, conditions and experiences faced by soldiers during the historic battle. Activities included laying out markers to represent key positions and trench line systems.

The Army Cadet League of Saskatchewan extended thanks to all participants, Saskatchewan Lotteries, ANAVETS for donating the venue, the Ladies Auxiliary for providing lunch, and the many volunteers who helped make the event possible. Special recognition was given to Bird for sharing his passion and historical knowledge with the group.
