ASSINIBOIA - Gravelbourg Gourmet Mustard was the recent recipient of an international award. The business began operations in 2008 in Gravelbourg, however newest owners, Paul and Matt, purchased the business in August of 2022.
It began as a small venture and is now based out of Regina.
Paul Leost and Matt Sirous are the owners/operators and say, “We are passionate about mustard and the culinary world. We have strong ties to Gravelbourg with Paul born and raised there and Matt having gone to school there, with family ties.”
The recent win was for their product, Savoury Dill Pickle Gourmet Mustard. It won an international contest based out of Wisconsin and the southern Saskatchewan business received a bronze medal in the herb and vegetable category.
Leost and Sirous said, “Competition was from around the world including places such as Argentina, Japan, Finland, France, the USA and Canada. It was definitely an honour to be able to go up against the best mustards in the world and win this medal.”
The company have approximately 160 retailers from Ontario to British Columbia that carry the Gravelbourg Gourmet Mustard products. People can also go on their website www.gravelbourgmustard.ca to see their retailer map for the location closest to them, whether they are at home or travelling.

The business partners have six top selling flavours that include the recent award-winning Savoury Dill Pickle mustard. They assure their supporters and those new to their business that there will be more delicious flavours coming in the near future.
