REGINA - The overnight warming bus is 小蓝视频 made available this week in Regina, due to the extreme cold weather conditions facing the city.
In a news release the city states that the warming bus is running Feb. 17-20. It runs tonight from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. and then again tomorrow and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m.
The warming bus will go from Carmichael Outreach on the 1500 block of 12th Ave., to All Nations Hope Network Awasiw Warming Centre, making stops along the way at the Salvation Army, the YWCA, and on 11th鈥疉venue by Newo Yotina.
The bus operator as well as outreach and security staff will be on board the bus, which is 小蓝视频 provided to offer a warm shelter space for people experiencing houselessness in Regina,
“The City is committed to the safety and well-小蓝视频 of everyone in our community, especially those experiencing houselessness. When temperatures drop to life-threatening lows, it’s critical to provide additional emergency measures like the warming bus,” said Dave Slater, Manager, Community Well-小蓝视频, in a statement.
